Supplier Code of Conduct

1. Purpose and Commitment

CANBILT Group Inc. is committed to conducting business with integrity, professionalism, and accountability across all operations. This commitment extends to all suppliers, subcontractors, vendors, and partners engaged to provide goods or services.

All suppliers are required to acknowledge and adhere to this Supplier Code of Conduct as a condition of engagement. This Code establishes the minimum standards expected to ensure ethical practices, regulatory compliance, and responsible business conduct throughout our supply chain.

 

2. Scope

This Code applies to all suppliers formally engaged by CANBILT Group Inc., including:

  • Subcontractors

  • Service providers

  • Material suppliers

  • Consultants and professional service firms

Suppliers are responsible for ensuring that their employees, representatives, and any sub-tier suppliers also comply with this Code.

 

3. Legal and Regulatory Compliance

Suppliers must comply with all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations in the jurisdictions in which they operate, including but not limited to:

  • Occupational Health and Safety legislation

  • Environmental protection regulations

  • Labour and employment standards

  • Building codes and industry-specific regulations

Non-compliance may result in immediate review or termination of the business relationship.

 

4. Ethical Business Practices

Suppliers must conduct business with honesty and integrity at all times.

This includes:

  • Prohibition of bribery, corruption, or unethical inducements

  • Avoidance of conflicts of interest or disclosure where they exist

  • Fair and transparent business dealings

  • Protection of confidential and proprietary information

 

5. Labour Standards and Human Rights

CANBILT Group Inc. maintains a zero-tolerance approach to unethical labour practices.

Suppliers must:

  • Prohibit all forms of forced, bonded, or involuntary labour

  • Prohibit child or underage labour in accordance with applicable laws

  • Ensure fair wages, working hours, and lawful employment practices

  • Promote a workplace free from discrimination, harassment, and abuse

Suppliers are expected to apply these standards throughout their own supply chains.

 

6. Health and Safety

Safety is a core requirement of all work performed under CANBILT Group Inc.

Suppliers must:

  • Provide a safe and healthy working environment

  • Ensure workers are properly trained and equipped

  • Comply with all applicable safety regulations and site-specific requirements

  • Report incidents, hazards, and near-misses in a timely manner

Where applicable, suppliers must align with CANBILT’s internal safety protocols and client-specific safety standards.

 

7. Environmental Responsibility

Suppliers are expected to operate in an environmentally responsible manner.

This includes:

  • Proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials

  • Minimizing environmental impact through responsible practices

  • Compliance with all environmental regulations and project-specific requirements

  • Supporting sustainable practices where feasible

 

8. Quality and Professional Standards

Suppliers must deliver services and materials that meet agreed specifications, industry standards, and project requirements.

This includes:

  • Maintaining appropriate qualifications, certifications, and licenses

  • Following established engineering, restoration, and construction standards

  • Cooperating with inspections, audits, and quality control processes

 

9. Supply Chain Responsibility

Suppliers are expected to extend these principles to their own supply chains.

CANBILT Group Inc. reserves the right to request evidence of compliance and may audit supplier practices where necessary.

 

10. Reporting and Accountability

Suppliers must report any violations or concerns related to this Code.

Failure to comply with this Code may result in:

  • Corrective action requirements

  • Suspension from projects

  • Termination of the supplier relationship

 

11. Acknowledgement

All suppliers engaged by CANBILT Group Inc. are required to confirm that they:

  • Have received and reviewed this Supplier Code of Conduct

  • Understand the expectations outlined within it

  • Agree to comply with all requirements as a condition of doing business

 

12. Approval

This Supplier Code of Conduct reflects the commitment of CANBILT Group Inc. to responsible, ethical, and high-quality operations across all projects and partnerships.
